Nicely faded Nudies. Dry or raw denim, is basically denim that is not washed after being dyed. It costs a whole bunch of money. You aren't supposed to wash the denim for 6 months - 1 year. (to maximize fading)
Over time, the denim will generally fade; affected by the body of the person who wears the jeans.
Why would people buy dry denim then? Whats the point of spending $150+ when you can't even wash the denim? Is it not gross to wear the same pair of jeans everyday for half a year without washing them? Isn't pre-washed denim more comfortable as well?
The whole point of dry denim is that it is affected by the body of the person who wears the jeans.
It creates what many people think is a much more "natural, unique" look than pre-distressed denim.
